Hallowe'en Message for October 31

posted Oct 27, 2016, 2:14 PM by Jeff Chaisson

On Monday, October 31st, students are invited to wear their Hallowe’en costume and participate in our Hallowe’en Parade.  The parade will start around 9:00 a.m., immediately after morning announcements. Students will parade through the hallways of the school and parents are invited to come to the main forum and take photos.  After the parade, students will go to their classrooms and will remove their costume before going outside for first break.  This will prevent costumes from getting damaged.  Students who do not wish to participate in the parade may opt to watch from the main office area.

We ask that parents help ensure that all costumes are appropriate for the school environment.  Please consider the age of some students and how certain costumes may make them feel.  Costumes should not incite fear and anxiety and all costumes should be appropriate, respectful and promote the fun and prosocial aspects of Halloween celebrations.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call the office and speak to Mr. Chaisson or Mr. Hamilton.
