The Program Viability of Elementary English and French Programming - Report 16096 regarding English and French Immersion elementary programming will first be shared, for information and discussion, with Trustees at the June 1, 2016 Board meeting. 

Update – May 12, 2016

At the May 11, 2016 Committee of the Whole meeting, Halton District School Board trustees were updated regarding the work of the Program Viability Committee (English and French As A Second Language (FSL) programming). The presentation from this meeting can be found by linking here.

The timeline for upcoming discussion and decision-making regarding English and French As A Second Language (FSL) programming was outlined with Trustees.

Timeline:

June 1, 2016 - A report from the Director of Education Stuart Miller with a recommendation concerning English and FSL programming will be presented at the June 1, 2016 Board meeting for discussion. The agenda for this meeting will be posted on Friday, May 27, 2016.

June 15, 2016 Board meeting – Trustees will make a decision concerning the report.
